New launches per year/by asset class
Since ELTIF 2.0, the number of new launches has more than tripled
Since the amended ELTIF Regulation took effect in January 2024, new funds have been coming to market much faster. The largest increase from 2023 to 2025 is in Private Equity and Private Credit.

Asset classes/one square = one fund
Private equity makes up just over a third of the market
Each square leads to the fund page, each class to its overview.
Almost one in two funds asks for a minimum investment of EUR 10,000 or less
ELTIF 2.0 removed the former EUR 10,000 minimum for retail investors. This has reached the broad market, but a core remains institutional.

of funds with documented data have a minimum investment of EUR 10,000 or less (63 of 133).

Ongoing costs/per fund, by asset class
Costs vary more within each class than between classes
The class medians are only 0.55 percentage points apart, while the middle half within a class spans 0.7 to 1.2 points. What matters for selection is the individual fund, not the class.

Legal structure/by launch year
ELTIF 2.0 has become the standard wrapper for new launches
Of the funds launched in 2023, 2 of 15 now carry the ELTIF 2.0 wrapper; of those launched in 2025, 34 of 53; in 2026 so far, 13 of 17. The Luxembourg Part II SICAV remains the second pillar but is losing weight among new launches.
